You have to learn to write good paragraphs to keep your writing organized during your first drafting and final revision stages. "The Snowflake" sentence-building activity taught the students various ways to create a sentence. Therefore, your argument should answer the question “why” in your topic sentence. Not only do you want to simplify run-on sentences, but you want to do the same for paragraphs and essays as well. A sentence is a group of words consisting of at least a subject and a predicate, and expresses a complete idea. Now my challenge as a teacher was to present a lesson on paragraph writing that was entertaining and challenging. Write essay body on researched and analysed points in paragraphs. This wonderful teacher also stressed the importance of a well-formed opening sentence that sets up the content of the paragraph. Paragraphing is the most essential aspect of essay writing. Begin with a good topic sentence, develop the topic with supporting sentences and finish with a good concluding statement. The determination to make in composing a given paragraph is not the number of sentences or words or letters, but the number of ideas. As I roam the web, I've been making note of new releases that look promising and actually writing the titles down instead of trusting to notoriously poor memory.
